Once you have applied for your Web Ring (below) and are activated, you will create a page on your site which will become your Ring's Home Page.  Call it whatever you wish, but you will have to provide the URL to your Rings Home page from your admin panel on our server when you set up your account.  On your Ring home page, you will place the link to your Web Ring "Join" form which you'll be assigned upon membership. Examples of this URL (and others) are listed below. 

You'll also want to place YOUR membership panel (as you'll be the first member of your Ring) at the bottom of this page.  A default Ring Panel will be generated for you from within your administration page on our server, OR if you have some html knowledge, you may design your own.  Software Zone can optionally custom design a panel for you for a $25 fee should you have the need.

Each webmaster to join your Web Ring will be provided the HTML code to place on their declared URL, when they join.  After they join, their account information will be placed into the INACTIVE folder from within your administration page.   Their site will NOT become LIVE in your ring, until they have added the code, and you have verified it's placement and manually activated their account in your ring.  From that point on, anyone visiting their site can find YOUR site as well as all the sites in your Ring.

The programmer for our Web Ring script has set up a Global Web Ring directory that you may choose be to listed in.  It's a good idea and will generate some extra traffic for you.  Take advantage of this by clicking on the DIRECTORY button in your control panel.

The Software Zone welcomes any and all types of Rings, with the exception of Adult related sites or those sites engaged in illegal activity (such as Warez).  Help yourself to a ring and start promoting it.... It's fun, engaging and more importantly, effective in promoting your Web site!
